Fish exporters of Pakistan have lauded the decision of the European Union (EU) to lift ban on export of Pakistani fish to the Eu.

The exporters also lauded the Ministry of Commerce for securing the export permit.

EU in April 2007 banned Pakistan’s fish exports and related products sighting poor hygienic and storage conditions.

Pakistan had been losing at least $50 million per annum since enforcement of the ban.
