The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday rejected a petition pertaining to award equivalent facilities and perks to both retired employees of armed forces as well as the serving officers.
Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh of LHC heard the petition filed by Retd Soubedar Naeem Ahmed. Soubedat Naeem had appealed to the court to issue directives for facilitating the retired armed force personnel with perks as those enjoyed by the serving officers.
The petitioner was of the view that a minimum quota has been allocated for retired army employees in pension and housing facilities which is not justified. Justice Nasir Saeed rejected the petition saying court cannot be moved against armed forces
