Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla has said that the alliance against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will never succeed because the political alliance has not been formed for political purpose or for the welfare of the people but the group consists of people with personal vested interests.
He said that in the past alliances were made against PPP but all those alliances failed due to their ulterior motives and they had no worth in the eyes of the masses after their nefarious designs failed badly.
The contacts of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) with banned organisations was clear proof that the PML-N was not a democratic party but a terrorist organisation and its participation in political alliance formed in Sindh showed that the said alliance had been formed against democracy rather than for the betterment of the country and the masses.
Mukesh further said that the PPP was a democratic party and believed only in democratic norms. In democracy the doors for political dialogues always remained open, he added. Moreover, he said it was the responsibility of all democratic forces to boycott such alliances which were formed on the basis of personal interests only.
He asked the PPP workers to prepare for election and advised them not to pay attention to rumours because the present democratic government had fulfilled all the promises with commitment and dedication.
