Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday congratulated the PTI workers on the completion of the second phase of intra-party elections, stating that the PTI workers had set a new model of true party polls in line with true democratic norms.
“It is no doubt a historic day in the political history of the country. You have rekindled the democratic process in Pakistan. You have set a new tradition,” Khan said while addressing PTI workers.
By participating in the party election passionately, Khan said the PTI workers had demonstrated a new example for other parties.
“You have made it clear to other political parties who are pursuing politics of family dynasties, telling them that the party polls are not held behind closed doors, rather the polls are held openly and enthusiastically,” he added.
Criticising dynastic politics, he said traditional political parties held dummy election just to deny opportunity to their workers to get elected for any major office.
“The so-called politicians are afraid of true party election and that is why they are afraid of the PTI. They are happy to hold dummy elections and getting elected the people of their choice against major offices,” he said, adding that such politicians were actually dictators who wanted to keep control on their parties.
The PTI chairman added that traditional political parties would never be democratic, as the top leadership of these parties had dictatorial mindset.
Calling upon the party workers to gel together, Khan said all those who had won or lost the election should now work in harmony, as all of them were following the same ideology.
Referring to incidents of violence against journalists during the party election in Gujranwala, he said those found involved in the shameful incident would be dealt with by the party’s election commission and a committee was investigating the matter.
“The party’s ECP would take to task anyone involved in the violence against media personnel,” he added.
good example indeed, but would they follow this example and loose all family political parties? they will resist until shown the door!

He has been appearing in advertisements of beverages (pepsi) and cigarettes (Wills) but did not pay tax. He has been playing county cricket in UK but was "oblivious" of tax obligations of resident Pakistanis, as defined in Income Tax Ordinance 1979.
Do you care to know that SKMT lab (what he always tries to encash) was sealed in July/August 2011 by the Lahore High Court when it was charging Rs700/- against the standard rate of Rs90/- per dengue test?? What a charity!
I mistakenly responded a spam message of PTI media team and got automatically registered as "member". Since then have been receiving different messages from PTI.
But fact of the matter is that PTI is a gang of short-sighted trolls whose only role is to malign PML-N and thereby covertly support PPP (PMLQ, MQM & TUQ).
Our vote is only for PML-N, against which all these so-called inquilabis have ganged up!!

This is the revolution people. N and PPP never hold elections like PTI and then the come the TV channels and bad mouth PTI. Shame on them and there supports for not standing up aganist their leaders.

despite all "elections" facade:
* Chairman = Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi (for his entire life!).
* Vice Chairman = Shah Mahmood Qureshi (ever since for joining PTI)
* President = Javed Hashmi (his precondition for joining PTI).
grow up people, Chhota and Mottas do not matter in the presence of life-time Chariman, Vice Chairman and President.
