An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted different parts of Balochistan on Wednesday morning and no loss of life was reported.
According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) tremors of magnitude 4.6 on Richter scale were felt in Quetta, Sibi and Bolan districts of Balochistan. Jolts were also felt in Rahimyar Khan.
The people sleeping at the time the quake hit, resulting in a panic as masses rushed out of their inhabitations.
The epicentre of the earthquake was stated to be 24 KM away from Sibi.
