Awami National Party (ANP) an ally of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government has a decided to part its ways with PPP after dissolution of assemblies.

According to well placed sources in ANP, the party has decided that it would stand no more with the government; rather it would devise a fresh strategy for forthcoming elections for its survival.

The ANP representative also said that the PPP used them for momentary benefits; when the vested interests of the government were over, they were thrown to the winds. The source concluded: “that is why the party leadership has decided to get aloof from the government after dissolution of provincial and national assemblies”.

  1. What a joke…but then, ANP has always been a joke!!!
Of course this is only until the next election "winner" is proclaimed and bet ya ANP will be bouncing up and down in that party's lap….pathetic!!!!

"The ANP representative also said that the PPP used them for momentary benefits; "
What a funny statement….like we don't know of ANP's FULLTIME wh*ring, just like Maulana Fazlur Rehman Diesel….And that they are full of it is proven from the fact that they are NOT going to "get aloof" till after the "dissolution of provincial and national assemblies" so they are happy EVEN NOW getting "used" (wink, wink)

  2. Hogwash! most likely both using a new strategy to help each other. ANP will not field any candidate in Karachi where PPP has slight edge over MQM. And in KP they will get same favor from PPP.
