Supreme Court disposed of on Tuesday the Rawal Dam Pollution Case after Cabinet Division Special Secretary Mushahid ullah Baig gave a written guarantee that no refuse was being dumped in the Rawal Lake.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary heard the suo motu case on Tuesday.
The Special Secretary Division maintained the stance that specimens from Rawal Lake had been checked, and the water supplied from the lake was totally hygienic.
CDA and the cabinet division also directed WASA to send a weekly report with reference to the water supplied from Rawal Dam.
