Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on the invitation of the PML-F leader Pir Pagara.
Talking to the reporters at Karachi airport PML-N chief alleged that the ruling parties are planning to rig the elections. He said that everything is happening t in Sindh with an understanding and people of the province are not so naïve that they could not get the air of it.
Commenting on the prevalent law and order of Karachi, Nawaz Sharif said that Karachi has been taken hostage and his party will work to restore peace and lights in Karachi.
He said that free and fair elections should be held and Karachi should be freed from criminals regardless of any greed to win seats. PML-N leader also alleged that political parties are getting their people hired and even retired workers are also being appointed.
Meanwhile, Senator Pervez Rasheed has rejected Sharjeel Memon’s accusations that Punjab government is supporting terrorists and said that Punjab always took strict actions against the banned organizations involved in terror activities.
Commenting on the statement of Sharjeel Memon, Senator Pervez Rasheed said that provincial government has nabbed hundreds of terrorists and he invited Sharjeel Memon to visit Punjab and take their wanted accused with him. Rasheed said that Shahbaz Sharif is one of the most successful administrators and he has never compromised in awarding punishment to anyone involved in illegal activities.
The PML-N leader said that Sharjeel Memon should provide a detailed list of wanted culprits and Punjab government would hand over them to Sindh government. Pervez Rasheed asked Sindh Information Minister to come out with categorical statement as to when his government would take action those involved in assisting culprits to flee abroad and why did Sindh government issue arms licenses to terrorists and individuals engaged in illegal activities.
