Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that Hyderabad and Shikarpur blasts are not outcome of anyone’s inefficiency.
“Hyderabad and Shikarpur bomb explosions have occurred not due to inefficiency of anyone’s. We are fighting war against terrorism. Many blasts have been witnessed in Peshawar but no one ever said these have occurred due to some one’s weakness. Explosions have taken place in Balochistan and Punjab as well. Someone’s hand is behind these blasts”, the CM said while talking to the media men here on Tuesday after inquiring about the health of those injured during the bomb blast at shrine of Hajin Shah Mari Sharif.
He went on to say that on one hand efforts were being made to enrage people through terror activities and on the other hand sectarian killings taking place in across the country. “The shrines are being targeted. Steps are being taken to stamp out terrorism”, he added.
He said bombs were planted at different targeted areas but they did not have enough expertise to counter this menace.
Police cannot remain present everywhere, he said, adding terrorism had surged following 9/11 episode. “We are suffering due to ill-conceived policies of the previous government. Some terrorists have been nabbed in the recently who have confessed their crime as well”, he held.
