To prevent spread of the dengue disease, Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) has established two anti-dengue awareness centres in the city.
City District Government Rawalpindi (CDGR) under the supervision of SWMD has established two anti-dengue awareness centres at Nawaz Sharif Public Park and Pirwadhai General Bus Stand which would educate citizens about precautionary measures to avoid spread of the disease.
Like other districts of Punjab, CDGR has been putting all out efforts to deal with dengue virus ahead of summer season.
