Humayun Mandokhel on Monday criticized minister for water and power over his absence from session of Senate’s Standing Committee on Water and Power, a private TV channel reported.
Mandokhel said that if Veena Malik were in the senate, minister for water and power would have been present.
Additional secretary for Water and Power informed the committee that the massive blackouts that hit the country on Sunday were due to a technical fault in the national grid, adding that the process of restoration of power was completed in all provinces except Sindh.
