A man was killed and several others injured when a powerful blast ripped through FC Fort in Khyber Agency on Monday, sources said.
The blast destroyed seven rooms of the fort completely.
Initial reports suggest that a soldier was killed and four others injured in the blast. A second blast was also heard in adjoining areas a little while ago.
The injured were shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.
According to initial reports, the blast took place when explosives stored in the fort exploded. The material had been recovered from miscreants.
