A large number of devotees on Monday held a protest demonstration and blocked the Indus Highway for over six hours against the attack on the convoy of Pir of Qambar Syed Ghulam Hussain Shah Bukhari a few days ago.
The protesters led by Dost Mohammad Hussaini and Hamzo Channa blocked the Indus Highway and demanded arrest of the attackers.
The road blockage caused immense trouble to the passengers travelling to Hyderabad, Dadu, Larkana and other cities.
The pilgrims of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar also faced great hardships due to the traffic jam on one of the main roads of Sindh. The local administration failed to end sit-in. The leader of protesters, Dost Mohammad Hussaini, said that the sit-in would continue for five days.
