Two gunrunners were killed and four others were arrested by the Frontier Corps (FC) during a targeted operation in the Killa Abdullah area bordering Afghanistan on Sunday, officials claimed.
According to FC Spokesman Captain Shumail, the troops carried out an operation in the Killi Abdur Rahmanzai area in Gulistan on a tip-off, and killed two persons after crossfire. He said the troops also arrested four others, who he described as “gunrunners”.
He further said that security personnel seized rocket launchers, hand grenades, Kalashnikovs and explosives from the possession of the accused, saying that the exact number of the weapons and ammunition seized would be released later. A case has been registered and the arrested suspects are being interrogated.
