The bodies of 17 unidentified victims of Baldia factory inferno were laid to rest here on Sunday.
The bodies were shifted to Baldia Town from Edhi Home and hundreds of people belonging to different walks of life attended the funeral prayers of the deceased.
It should be mentioned here that some five months earlier more than 250 people died and scores others suffered burn wounds in a devastating Baldia factory fire.
The deceased were scorched to such extent that their identity was not possible after which they were shifted to Edhi Home.
According to West Deputy Commissioner Ali Leghari, the decision to bury the bodies was taken after the Sindh High Court (SHC) orders after taking the heirs of missing persons in confidence.
