Snow, rain recall chill in parts of Pakistan

Cold wave gripped Quetta and adjacent areas after snowfall following sporadic rain.

Youths enjoyed rain and snowfall while the weather conditions also caused power outages. Lahore and other parts of Punjab also received showers, which brought temperature down.

According to Met office, Lahore and some other parts of the province will continue to receive showers for the next 24 hours.

In Sindh, hailstorm was reported in Umarkot while parts of Karachi also received drizzle.

The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm in the metropolis for the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature will remain in the range of 17 to 19 degrees celsius.

A Met official said that the province will get a widespread rain fall and Karachi will get rain spell late Friday or early Saturday.
