The third annual SiMUN officially commenced on February 20, receiving massive participation from students from all over the country.
Students, dressed as young representatives of different nations, gathered together to solve the perils that engulf the state of the world.
The weather forecasts compelled the management to reschedule the entire event.
The opening ceremony was held in the afternoon and the students were warmly welcomed. Dinner was served at the end of the first day; the theme of the regale was Shangai nights and the halls were adorned by Chinese dragons and red lanterns.
Committee sessions and a global village was held on the second day. The event will continue for the following two days and a concert is scheduled when the weather becomes moderate.
The first two days proved to be very enthralling for the students and the event was pronounced a success.
