Report of Standing Committee on Law on creation of new Province in Punjab presented before Senate on Thursday.
Chairman Standing Committee on Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Kazim Khan presented before the House report of the committee on “The Constitution (Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill‚ 2013”.
The Bill in this regard was moved in the Upper House in the light of the report of the Parliamentary Commission on creation of new provinces in Punjab.
Talking on a point of order Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi said gas crisis has worsened in the country. He criticized the recent increase in gas tariff saying it will badly impact the people.
Haseeb Khan said people have expectations from parliamentarians that they will resolve their problems.
Shahi Syed said Pakistan has been in the grip of corruption and terrorism which are the biggest problems. He appealed to all political parties to rise above party politics and get united against terrorism.
