A new weather system entered Pakistan overnight causing intermittent showers in most areas of Sindh and Balochistan on Thursday.
According to media reports, several areas of Sindh that experienced overnight downpour, included Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, Khairpur and Jacobabad. The rain drastically lowered the temperatures and people once more pulled out their warm clothes to fight the chilly weather.
Meanwhile, people in most rain-washed areas were facing problems due to power outages.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the rain spell was expected to last for the next 48 hours.
