Makhdoom Amin, Altaf condemn deadly Jacobabad blast

Government officials and political leaders condemned the deadly blast at a religious congregation in Jacobabad that killed among others the grandson of Syed Hussain Shah, the pir of Qambar Sharif.
In an official statement issued here, Senior Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim termed the bombing at the religious site of Saeen Hussain Shah as extremely unfortunate and expressed sadness on the death of Syed Shafiq Shah, the grandson of pir of Qambar Sharif.
The minister expressed grief and sorrow over the death of innocent people and sympathised with those who were injured in the blast.
In a separate statement, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain also condemned the blast.
He expressed his grief and sorrow on the death of Shafiq and wounding of several other persons in the blast. He extended his sympathies to the followers of Pir Hussain and prayed to the Almighty Allah to bless the soul of Shafiq.
The MQM chief demanded from President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of the blast in Jacobabad and bring the perpetrators to justice at the earliest.
