The Capital Development Authority (CDA) board on Tuesday vacate 700 flats located in Sector G-6 from the officials of the Islamabad Police.

The civic body has also decided to name three roads after Mansha Yad, Tufail Niazi and other personalities. The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by CDA, Chairman Syed Tahir Shahbaz..

CDA had earlier expressed concerns over the occupation of more than 700 flats in Sector G-6 by the officials of Islamabad Police and decided to vacate them.

The CDA board also decided to launch a rapid transit bus service (metro bus service) in the federal capital. The CDA would launch the metro bus service in collaboration with Rawalpindi administration to facilitate the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi .
