Asif for joint session of Parliament on Quetta carnage

Participating in the debate on Quetta incident in National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday, PML-N leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif said a joint session of the Parliament should be summoned on the issue.

He said officials of secret agencies, police and FC should brief the public representatives about the prevailing security situation in Balochistan.

Other members said the law enforcement agencies should play their role for the protection of lives and properties of the people.

The members said justice should be dispensed to the people of Balochistan and those involved in the massacre of Hazara community should be brought to justice.

They said the law enforcement agencies should be equipped with latest technology and coordination enhanced between the intelligence agencies to control the situation in Balochistan.

Agreeing to the proposal of the PML-N for the Joint Session of the Parliament on Quetta tragedy‚ Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah said that he will convey the sentiments of the House to the Leader of the House. He said the joint session will be held in current or next week.
