Countrywide protests against Quetta carnage continue

Countrywide protests against Quetta explosion continued on Tuesday as thousands of Pakistani Shiites refused for a third day to bury victims of a devastating bomb attack on their community, demanding protection against record levels of sectarian violence.

As per details, In Islamabad, sit-in protest continued in Islamabad at Faizabad interchange while people suffered problems because of lack of public transport.

A long queue of vehicles was witnessed at both sides of the interchange while the no one was allowed to pass the junction.

In Karachi, main roads of the city remained close due to sit-in protests staged against 90 people’s killing in Quetta’s Kirani Road on Saturday.

The main roads include Shara-e-Faisal, Drigh Road, Malir 15, M.A. Jinnah Road, Numaish Chowrangi, University Road, Time Square, Clifton 3 Swords, Ayesha Manzil, Incholi, North Nazimabad Five Star Chowrangi, Rizwia Society, North Karachi, Power House and others.

Some unidentified miscreants set a bus on fire near Mazar-e-Quaid.

Protests were also reported from other parts of the country included Lahore and Rawalpindi.
