Contractor refuses to print roll-number slips of matriculation students

Due to non-provision of a complete record of candidates of the matriculation exam, the IT firm which had been contracted to print roll number slips of students of Rawalpindi Board of Education on Tuesday refused to abide by the contract.

The contractor said that the data provided to him lacked authenticity.

As a result, the board had decided to print the roll number slips on their own.

Vacations of the employees of the Board of Education had been cancelled, and the employees who were on vacations had been ordered to come back on duty.

Educational circles were of the view that the negligence of Rawalpindi Board of Education meant that it would fail to release the roll-number slips on a self-help basis.
