Badin protests against Quetta carnage

Shia organisations staged a in Badin on Tuesday to protest against the Kirani carnage in which 91 people were killed.

The rally, led by Dr Mukhtiar Jaffery and Bahadur Memon, was brought out from Shahnawaz Chowk to DCO office. The protesters, carrying placards and banners, chanted slogans against the elements involved in the tragic incident and demanded their immediate arrest. They also staged a sit-in outside DCO office along Karachi-Badin road, suspending traffic between Karachi and Badin.

Speaking on the occasion, Shia community leaders said that the genocide of Hazara community belonging to Shia sect was being orchestrated since years but the state institutions had failed to ensure the liberty of life and property as enshrined in the constitution
