PBC takes action against lawyers with fake degrees


The Punjab Bar Council (PBC) on Monday moved an application for registration of cases against seven lawyers with fake degrees.

According to PbBC Executive Committee Chairman Tahir Nasrullah Warriach, the PbBC had started a process for verification of lawyers’ degrees and it was found that the seven lawyers had fake degrees.

He said that an application had been moved in Civil lines Police Station for registration of the case against Shahbaz ur

Rehman, Haji Akhlaq Ahmad, Sardar Khalid Dad Khan, Hidayat Ali Khan, Muhammad Qasim, Waseem and Allah Ditta for having fake law degree.

He said that the lawyers’ community would not tolerate black sheep among them and strict action would be taken against them.
