Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Pakistan and Iran would sign a security agreement to check the drug trafficking and curb smuggling on their border areas.
Talking to media prior to his departure for Iran in Islamabad on Monday, he said that Pakistan is serious about check illegal movements on the border.
Rehman Malik said both sides have discussed security measures for the pilgrims visiting Iran. The co-operation between Iran and Pakistan is very close and added that we are neighbours and friends. The minister said Iran and Pakistan will work further to stop drug trafficking.
