A doctor and his son were killed earlier this morning when unknown armed men opened fire at their vehicle.
According to details, Dr Ali Haider, an eye specialist from Gulberg area of Lahore was on his way to drop his son to school when unknown motorcyclists sprayed bullets at his vehicle near FC College at Zahoor Elahi Road.
As a result of firing Dr Ali Haider was killed on the spot while his son Ali Murtaza sustained serious wounds.
The child was rushed to Services Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Police officials said that the incident seems to be an outcome of personal enmity.
The police registered a dual murder case and have started their investigation.
