People belonging to different walks of life strongly condemned Sunday’s bomb blast in Hazara Town, Quetta and expressed their deep grief over the killing of innocent people in the unfortunate incident.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) President and former Member National Assembly (MNA) Sahabzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, Jaffaria Alliance Sindh President Rashid Ali Jaffery, Shia Ulema Council President Kazim Raza Naqvi, members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), members of Pakistan Sunni Forum, Minorities Commission of Pakistan Chairman Advocate M Parkash, Reverend Dr Daniel Fiaz, PPP Hyderabad Vice-President Amanullah Siyal, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) President Goharullah, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh leaders Maulana
Abdul Waheed Qureshi and Shaikh Shoukat Ali, JI Hyderabad General Secretary Dr Fawad Ahmed and others have strongly condemned the killing of innocent people in the Quetta blast that occurred at Karani Road. They said that shedding blood of innocent people was tantamount to playing with the stability of the country.
They said that the enemies wanted to weaken the country to fulfill their nefarious designs by promoting hatred between various segments of people and some hidden hands were also active in the country to create misunderstanding between different communities.
They also condemned such barbaric acts of violence that targeted innocent people and said that the enemies of Islam, Pakistan and humanity were perpetrating these types of brutal acts to achieve their hidden agendas.
They appealed to the people of the country to remain calm and to maintain peace in their localities, while urging all the political leaders to play their role in calming down the situation in the affected areas.
They also appealed to the religious scholars belonging to all schools of thought to foil the nefarious designs of the enemy by forging complete unity within the ranks.
They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and to grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this great loss.
