An explosion took place at Shara-e-Faisal near Gora Qabristan here on Monday. However, no loss of life and property was reported in the blast. The explosion was too huge that the windowpanes of nearby FTC and NIT buildings were broken. The noise of blast was heard miles away from spot.
Talking to Pakistan Today, Saddar DSP Saddar Malik Ahsan said it was a remote control device blast. He said the bomb was placed beneath FTC flyover. He said the blast caused two wide and four feet deep wide hole in the soil. Two to three kilogram of explosive material was used in the blast, he added.
