The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has questioned why all the political and religious parties creating a hue and cry on the Karachi situation are remaining silent on the killings of people in Quetta belonging to the Hazara community.
The MQM chief questioned as to why political and religious parties could not see the organised killings of innocent people belonging to the Hazara community. He posed these questions while talking to members of the MQM Rabita Committee.
Hussain said that a majority of the political and religious parties had played politics on the Karachi situation by holding conferences and rallies, but they remained silent on the deaths of Hazara people in the largest province of the country.
The criminal silence maintained by these political and religious parties clearly indicated that they were equally responsible for the brutal killings of innocent people, Altaf added.
Hussain said that the nation, particularly the youth, should be able to differentiate between self-serving politicians and those who believed in maintain the dignity of mankind. He urged the youth to boycott all such political and religious parties which were maintaining criminal silence on the killings of the people belonging to the Hazara community.
