  1. Excuse me. I am in the United States, so my understanding of issues in your country is extremely limited.
Could someone educate me as to "Why" people would be arrested for flying kites? To those of us here in the United States, kite flying is simply harmless, fun activity. Most often enjoyed at the beach where the winds are strongest.

    • Kite flying in our culture(Asia) is much more then just doing it on the weekend and on the beach, its a tradition that dates back hundreds of years, its a celebration of the coming spring some say.Our kites are different, our thread that we use is different, our kites are known as the fighter kites and our thread we use to fly them is made with powdered glass, and other products, the objective is to cut the other guys kite(string) But unfortunately some infact a lot of people found a way to add chemical to the string to make it more lethal if you will, its stronger too,but when you cut someones kite,it usually has a long string hanging which drags down on the streets and the sharp string can and will cut anything it touches, and the people riding on the motor bikes are the usual victims,a lot of them die from it.This is about as simply as I can put it.All in all,its a dangerous sport now since people added chemical to it.
