Kashmore Excise Department has recovered a large quantity of weapons and hashish while arresting three accused, besides impounding a truck.
A statement issued on Sunday said that a team of the Kashmore Excise Department, led by ETI Aamir Khulwar, spotted a suspected truck bearing registration number C-3231 Bannu.
The team recovered eight Kalashnikovs, four TT pistols, one MP 5 gun, 31,500 bullets and10 kilogrammes of hashish. The team arrested three accused identified as Naimat Ullah, Kalim Ullah and Muhammad Raza.
Sind Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla had appreciated the efforts of the mentioned department in curbing the activities of the drug mafia and hoped that they would continue their struggle against such heinous crimes.
