The Pakistan Army soldier Ikhlaq Ahmed who was killed by Indian forces after he mistakenly crossed the Line of Control (LoC) was laid to rest at his native village in Kalar Syedan near here on Saturday.
Hundreds of people including, family members, relatives, dwellers of the areas and army officials attended the funeral prayers of Ikhlaq Ahmed. He was buried at native graveyard with full military honours.
Earlier, Pakistan army received the dead body of the martyred soldier on Friday night..
Pakistan’s Foreign Office strongly condemned the killing of a Pakistani soldier by Indian Army who mistakenly crossed the LoC.
The foreign office spokesman Moazzam Khan said that the incident was a violation of an agreement between Pakistan and India as the soldier mistakenly crossed the border.
