Police, with the help of a law-enforcement agency, foiled a major terror plot in the garrison city of Taxila on Saturday.
According to details, police arrested six terrorists belonging to banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) recovered six kilogramme of explosives, 110 detonators, 150 meters detonator wire, one hand grenade, three pistols and a large number of bullets.
The accused were identified as Rehmat Gul, Alam Khan, Gul Ghani, Gul Muhammad, Naseeb Shah and Fateh Gul. They are all residents of Mohmand Agency.
Police have registered a case and started interrogation.
