NAB to probe corruption in expenditure of Balochistan government

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to start investigation against corruption in official expenditures of the Balochistan government.

According to a private TV channel, NAB officials said officers of the Balochistan govt, including officers in 19 to 21 grade, caused losses of Rs 3.75 billion to the national exchequer.

The NAB official vowed to file reference against alleged officers after investigation.

Total 30 officers would be probed, including one in grade 21, 10 officers in grade 20 and 19 in grade 19, for their alleged involvement in corruption.
