Earlier, medical report on Kamran Faisal’s death was finalized and handed over to Islamabad police investigators on Saturday.
A medical board of Polyclinic Hospital, Islamabad, met here with Dr IU Baig in the chair to review Punjab Forensic Science Agency’s report on Kamran Faisal’s death.
The board after finalizing the report sealed it and handed over to the police investigators.
Federal police had directed the hospital administration to conclude the report soon so that it could be presented before the Supreme Court on February 19.
On January 23, the Supreme Court of Pakistan had formed a two-member bench to hear Kamran Faisal’s death case.
Changing the registrar’s note on Kamran Faisal’s death into a petition during the hearing, the apex court decided to form a separate bench to hear the case regarding the death of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) official.
The two-member bench, headed by Justice Jawad S. Khawaja, will begin hearing the case in court room 2 from Thursday.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, resumed the hearing of the Rental Power Projects (RPPs) case on Wednesday.
The apex court in its order declared that the NAB official’s family and friends had expressed dissatisfaction over NAB’s investigation in the case.
