Iranian delegation meets KMC admin


KARACHI: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed met with Iranian delegation, headed by Deputy Consul General Muhammad Raza Bak Sehrai in his office and discussed matters of bilateral relations and mutual interest.
The Hussain said that Pak-Iran had everlasting friendship and both the countries were neighbouring Islamic countries, said a statement issued here on Saturday.
He said that Iran had always supported Pakistan and Pakistanis had a feeling of love and brotherhood for the people of Iran.
The delegation also discussed with the KMC administrator the availability of healthy meat by automatic plant, export of cattle and solid waste management.
The KMC administrator said the opportunities of availability of meat by automatic plant were available on a large scale in the metropolitan and could also cater to the needs of Iran.
The Iranian delegation informed that the purpose of their visit was in connection with the implementation of the MoU signed with the Iran’s Mayor of Mashhad for investment in solid waste management and automatic plant for meat.
Meanwhile, Hussain also informed delegation about the needs and resources of Karachi.
