Valentine Day Golf at Royal Palm

The accomplished golf playing males joined their non golfing wives for a Valentine Day Couples Golf Competition at the Royal Palm Golf Course yesterday. Taking time off to play a golf competition with wives is not a common happening in Pakistan but some devoted husbands found it appropriate and essential to offer their female partners a few hours of their golfing time as a gift which most of the wives considered more valuable than any other gift they had ever received or considered expecting.
This expression was voiced in the shape of a chorus by Mrs Shoaib Shams,Mrs Asim Tiwana, Mrs Max Babri, Mrs Sikander Khan, Mrs Ghulam Mustafa, Mrs Umair Butt, Mrs Rizwan Ali and Mrs Ahsan Naqi.
In the case of one couple, Sadaqat Lodhi was partnered by his daughter who was also glad to have been given that honor by her father. The format of the competition left the powerful hitting to the males and the lighter putting side was the domain of the females. And though not in practice, the wives handled their side of the responsibility adequately well and did not shirk from putting up a really good show, successfully managing to avoid the hubbies ire. At the end of the competition Sikander Khan and his partner combined exceedingly well to win the best net and emerge as the Valentine day Golf winners. The runners up couple slot went to Tariq Mehmood and his wife.
