At least seven people were killed on Friday and five others were injured in a road accident near Dera Ghazi Khan.
According to rescue sources, the incident took place near Kot Chatta area where a truck collided with a passenger van on the Indus Highway.
Police sources said the truck driver lost control over the heavy vehicle while taking a sharp turn on the highway.
Seven passengers died in the mishap while five were critically injured. They were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital at Dera Ghazi Khan.
