Supreme Court has issued notices to Secretary Water and Power and Attorney General of Pakistan as the government failed to pay arrears to Rental Power Projects.
A two-judge bench headed by Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani heard the case on Friday.
Khalid Anwar pleaded the case for RPPs and told the apex court that the government has given an affidavit that payments would be made to the RPPs.
The court issued notices to the relevant authorities.
Hearing of the case has been adjourned till Tuesday.
It is IPPs not RPPs..all RPPs are closed after SC verdict……
