Rain, snowfall likely across country

Rain with snowfall over the hills is likely at scattered places, including Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Balochistan, upper Sindh, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.

According to the synoptic situation, a western disturbance is affecting most parts of the country and likely to persist during next 36 hours.

Widespread rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) is expected in Northeast Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and Sahiwal divisions.

However, rain-thunderstorm is likely at scattered places of central and southern Punjab during next 24 hours.
Rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at scattered places of KP, upper and central Sindh in next 24 hrs.

Mostly cloudy weather expected in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan, however, rain-thunderstorm is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi and Kalat divisions with snowfall over the hills during next 12 hours.

A widespread rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) is expected in Kashmir and GB during next 24 hours.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Parachinar -9 degrees Celsius, Gupis -4C, Skardu -3C, Astore and Hunza -2C, Chitral and Quetta -1C.

The rainfall recorded during last 24 hours was Khuzdar 22mm, Kalat 16, Sibbi, Muzaffarabad and Balakot 12; Quetta 10, Kakul 7; Dalbandin, Parachinar, Garidupatta and Mianwali 6; Larkana 5, Jaccobabad 4; Moenjodaro, Rohri, Sukkar and DI Khan 3; Zhob, Saidu Sharif, Hunza, Chakwal, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi 2; Chirat, Murree, DG Khan, Okara and Bhakkar 1mm.
