Police arrests 11, recovers valuables

Islamabad Police claimed to have arrested on Friday 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a stolen motorcycle, car, weapons and other valuables from their possession.

According to details, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Riaz from Aabpara police station arrested Fahim Akram for possessing 115 grams of heroin.

Islamabad Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ali nabbed Adnan and Mansoor and recovered stolen motorcycles and a 30 bore pistol from their possession.

CIA ASI Javed Iqbal nabbed Farooq and recovered one car (ACB-621) from his possession. The car was stolen from the area of Sarjani Town in Karachi.

Sub-Inspector Saleem Ullah apprehended Naseer Uddin and recovered one 32 bore revolver from him while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ajmal of Tarnol police station recovered one 30 bore pistol from Ibrhaim.

ASI Liaquat Ali from Bani Gala police station arrested Attiq ur Rehman, Bashir and Talaat for their alleged involvement in a car-theft and selling diesel without legal permission. ASI Umer Hayat from Nilore police station nabbed Naseer Uddin and recovered one a 12 bore gun along with 4 cartridges from his possession.

ASI Ghulam Rasool from Loi Bher police station arrested Imtiaz and recovered various stolen items from his possession.

Cases were registered against these nabbed persons and further investigations were underway.

Islamabad IGP Bani Amin Khan and Islamabad SSP Yaseen Farooq appreciated the overall performance and directed all police officials to be highly vigilant and patrol in their respective areas to curb the activities of anti-social elements.
