Ramana Police officials on Thursday arrested a total of 20 suspects during a search operation and impounded 16 motorbikes and two cars during the search. According to police sources, the search operation was conducted by police teams in various localities, including slum areas, buildings under construction, houses and hotels. A total of 20 suspects were arrested who could not produce any document for their identification. Meanwhile, Ramana police teams also ensured special checking and impounded 16 motorbikes and two cars. The purpose of starting the search operation in various areas was to ensure foolproof security in the capital, a police official spokesman said.
