A Corps commanders meeting is underway in Rawalpindi with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani in chair.
The conference is being held at the GHQ and the agenda of the meeting was pronounced as: to review to prevalent internal and external security situations and to discuss professional matters pertaining to the armed forces.
Awami National Party (ANP) has also scheduled a conference for today to draft strategies to counter terrorism in the country.
