Boat Basin police on Thursday claimed to have arrested 24 criminals in different raids and recovered weapons, drugs and looted valuables from their possession.
On the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Clifton Division, Nasir Aftab, Station House Officer (SHO) of Boat Basin Police Naseer Muhammad Tanoli along with a police party arrested Abdullah, Waleed Khan, Noor Mian, Tariq, Farhan, Iftikhar alias Khawar, Orangzaib – and recovered two Kalashnikovs, four pistols, six magazines, 35 cartridges and snatched mobile phones from their possession.
The accused were involved in street crimes. The police also arrested eight drug peddlers in separate raids and recovered 60 rods of hashish from their possession.
