The Sindh Assembly on Tuesday approved Sindh Laws Amendment Bill 2012 which dropped the letter ‘H’ from the province’s name.
The official name of the province will now be written as ‘Sind’.
The name derives from the Indus River which is known to the Arabs as Al Sind while it is known as Sindhu in Sanskrit.
Great Achievement for the sake of democracy :D. Jiyay Bhutto.
I liked the Sanskrit version
Who can now blame that the present 'democratic' set up did not do anything good for the people of Sind? This will go a long way in alleviating the miseries of the poor people of Sind in particular and of Pakistan in general. Long live our democracy and its best revenge.
Killings, strikes and unemployment but the 'H' must go
