The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Tuesday released 88,098 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 66,472 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1434.92 feet, which was 56.92 feet higher than its dead level 1378 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 20,500 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 35,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1132.60 feet, which was 92.60 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 16,874 cusecs and 24,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 54,849, 61,148 and 62,215 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 17,000 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 12,098 cusecs were released from the Chenab River at Marala.
