At least five persons were gunned down in fresh spate of violence in separate incidents on Tuesday.
In the area of Karachi at Clifton, unknown armed men stopped a car near the Russian consulate and opened indiscriminate firing killing three on spot.
Police reached on the scene and cordoned off the area and started search for criminals.
A person was also shot dead in Korangi area of the city by unknown assailants.
