ECP orders 130 political parties to hold elections

Election Commission of Pakistan has directed 130 political parties to hold intra-party polls.

In its order, the ECP asserted that those parties could not participate in general elections who did not hold intra-party polls.

ECP directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), PML-Q, Pakistan Awami Tehrik of Tahirul Qadri, BNP, Pakhtunkhwa Awami Milli Party, Qaumi Watan Party and others for holding party elections.

  1. Most of these parties are establishment's pawns, just for blackmailing & horse trading.
    They should be banned from Pakistan to get rid of their political pollution.

    • even if they are, they should be rejected by people! strange PPP and PML-N are not on the list who established family monarchy in so called democratic paries!

  2. This ECP is stupid. PTI is the only party to be conducting genuine intra-party elections. Instead of appreciating it it is not recognizing it.
